Bible Verse: “…and to your goodness, add KNOWLEDGE” 2 Peter 1:5c

Prayer: Dear God, You know everything because You made everything. I am glad that You made me and gave me a mind to learn. Help me learn more about You so that I can understand You better. Help me to learn your ways so that I can do what is right. Amen

Take-It-Home Activities:

Parents: Pray specifically that God will expand your knowledge of Him this week and then have faith that He will reveal Himself to you in new ways!

Birth – Age 2: Children learn so quickly at this age! Talk to your children as much as you can. As you are dressing them point out body parts, as you are driving talk about God’s creation, during dinner talk about how God made each food to help their body in a special way. You’ll be amazed at what they will remember!

Age 3 – Kindergarten: Take a trip to the library and pick out some non-fiction books on something your child finds interesting (trains, dogs, volcanoes, anything!). Spend some time reading, learning and discussing together. Remind your child that God created their mind and desires for them to learn!
